I have always been fascinated with the world champions because they have managed to do what most people can not reach it. Looks like fun to see them climb the podium and then express their feelings, as if to say that the struggles and sacrifices finally paid off.
For those of you who love motor racing, there is a Valentino Rossi, Moto GP world champion 7 times. For those of you who like tennis, there is the Roger Federer. For those of you who love golf, there is the Tiger Woods, and so on.
Indonesia was no less powerful in fact, we have a badminton legend Rudy Hartono, eight time All England champion.
If we look more deeply about themselves, there are some common attitudes and mindsets that are always present in a championship, let us say it is the habit of a winner.
Here are the habits of these:
A. Preparation is key
The champion of the world understands very well that preparation is the key to winning the competition. They know that without thousands of hours they spend practicing, the winner is not possible. That is why they are willing to practice every day for hours to hone their skills continue. Tiger Woods hit practice every day of 1000. In golf, 1000 beating spent approximately 8 hours.
2. Extra effort
One millisecond can make the difference between winning and losing. Olympic athletes in the know with certainty that one millisecond can make them become a champion or runner-up only. To be the best in the world, they always spend extra effort in their training and push themselves to do more and more even though they have been exhausted.
3. Have goals to be achieved in his mind
There is a proverb which says that: "If you can not see it, you can not reach it." It is impossible to achieve if you do not know where to go and what path must pass to become a winner.
World champions do not rely on chance or luck to win. They won because they have goals to be achieved in his mind. They make a plan how to achieve it and do the plan with discipline.
4. Do everything with complete
Once the plan has been made, they always do the assignments completely. There is no such thing as the word "later on in advance". With a commitment to completing the tasks to completion, no matter how hard the task, no doubt that they would later achieve extraordinary results.
5. Momentum
People who consistently ascertain the secret of momentum. I take this parable: You never push a car? Originally definitely heavy, but when the car started to run, faster and lighter you push. You must be consistent push the car, because once you lose the urge for a moment, the car will slow down and you have to spend extra effort to make the car go back.
A champion of the world can identify the momentum and eventually able to defeat their opponents.
6. Play to win
The real winners have a mindset that they play to win. They issued his ability. To be the best, they know that they must have the mindset to always be number one, not just trying to not be the last.
7. Persistence
Without persistence, it seems impossible for anyone to reach the top, because the journey to the summit is full of gravel and sharp stones. The world champions have the perseverance to keep going no matter how many obstacles they face. They realized that the way they are going through very tough, but they persist because they have a very clear idea that if they do not give up, they would reach the top. Only a matter of time.
