7 habits of highly Ineffective People


You probably have never read a book by Stephen R. Covey, entitled 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, which is also one of the international best-selling book. If you have never read it, I highly recommend the book to you. Textbooks you need to have if you want to develop your personality. You can get it in the stores of your favorite books.

On this occasion I will share the habits you the man from the opposite viewpoint, namely 7 Habits of Highly Effective NO.

These seven habits you should avoid. Maybe you do not realize it because it has become your daily habit.

What are the 7 habits, let's look together:

1. Not 'appear'

One of the most simple but has a very large effect for you to achieve success - whether in social life, career, finances or health - are putting yourself more often.

What do you mean 'appeared' here? I will give you an illustration: If you want to improve your health, then one of the most important and most effective thing is that you showed up at the gym according to your workout schedule.
Maybe then the weather was not supported, so you feel reluctant to get out of the house. But if you keep forcing yourself to go even if you are lazy, then you have to improve your mental faster than you are just sitting on the couch watching tv.

I think this applies in all areas of your life. If you write more often, then one day you will be the authors' writing top where you'll always be waiting for people to read. If you often meet or get together with friends, then your chances of meeting someone special grew.

Only with you 'appear' more often will make a huge difference to your success. If not, you will not go anywhere.

2. Delay the work

There are two conditions that cause a person to delay his work:

- First, he has a job that is piling up. He was puzzled what to do first. Finally he did not do anything.

- Secondly, he just has a bit of work, so he thought to put it off first.

No matter what your condition, below are some ways you can do so that you can get out of the habit of delaying this:

- Do the hardest task first and foremost in the morning. A good start in the morning will make a positive momentum so that you will live the rest of your day with more vigor.

- You have probably heard a joke: how do you eat an elephant? ..... Do not eat in one bite! If you just think that accumulate tasks are waiting for you, your head may be tired, eventually will take you to the delay. Break your tasks into small steps, and focus on the first step. - If you are thinking of delaying the work because you only have a little work, you should start thinking what if you suddenly get a new job while you have a long task to do. Always use the principle: 'do now also things you can do now'.

3. You do something that really does not matter

Other non-productive habits, other than delay, are you busy myself with things that are not important.
To avoid this, write down three important things you should do every day, whether on paper or in your notebook, and start working from the top. Although you are only able to finish a job, but at least you have done the most important things you need to do on that day.

Whichever method you use to manage your work, the main priority remains finding the most important things you need to do every day. This technique is also part of effective time management, so you do not spend your days doing things that are not important. Complete a job quickly it will not matter if you do things that are not important.

I will try to give a simple example. Suppose you are a manager of a production department. At one point the men you made a mistake so that the resulting product is defective. Which one would you choose:

2. You look for a solution to this incident does not recur.

4. Thinking too long

People who think too long, will automatically make it less take action. Caught up in excessive analysis can waste time precious time in your life. There's nothing wrong with thinking before acting, even such a thing is necessary. Conduct research, plan, explore potential benefits and problems that may occur.

But think, think and keep thinking is another waste of your life. You do not need to analyze all of it from every angle. You can not wait for the right to actually run your action. Stop thinking, do it now you have to do anything, go anywhere you need to go.

5. Looking at the negative side of everything

When you see things from a negative angle, then in fact you've dropped your own motivation. You find the lack of ubiquitous problems that may not really exist, for example when you are looking for an excuse to not do something. I believe that the negative from the point you will find at least 10 reasons.

Another example, you find someone who will listen to your complaints - when in fact no one wants to listen to your complaints - about your work and your life is saturating or your boss is a bitch. Know that you will create your life according to what you think and how you view your environment. If you look at your life is so boring, you will have a life that is really boring.

You have to do is nothing you challenge yourself to think positively for 7 days. Look at the incredible results that later you can be.

6. Obstinate in your own establishment and reject the opinions of others

It's hard to admit or minded that your opinion is not the best choice. So you insist on your opinion and close your mind from the influence of others. This condition can cause you to personally hard to develop into more effective.

Suggestions for overcoming this problem is that you realize that humans have a limit on the things he knew. You must be open to receive lessons on your own mistakes, mistakes of others or other sources such as books.

When your brain is always cleared to accept new things, unconsciously you have risen to a higher level, and so on. But remember, do not also get stuck as described in no.4. New knowledge that you receive, you need to apply and try out in your life, not just a mere knowledge.

7. Let the information overwhelm your brain

The opposite of point 6 above, at 7 this point you just let all the information flowing into your brain without any filtering. If you do this, it will be difficult for you to think clearly. Some conditions that cause you like it is:

- Much of the information that you receive is negative. Media and the environment around you often give negative information, such as fraud, robbery, murder, gossip and so on. If you are not selective in the news, you may be negatively affected as well, whether it be in our thoughts, feelings and actions.

- There is an urge within you to keep up to date information, but how fast you keep abreast with the various tools you have, there will always be tens or even hundreds of new things happening that you can not follow. This calls can actually make you become stressed.

It is difficult to make decisions and take action if your brain is kept flooded with information. Even you can be stuck to the habit, as mentioned in point 3. You busy and keep busy doing the work but not really important job.

To be able to focus, think clearly and take action, it was important to select qualified even if the need to restrict access to information that goes into your brain, say when you're finishing a job, you do things such as: turn off your phone, internet and room doors you.
